Busy Mom Solution: 5 Reasons I’m Letting Santa Handle My Christmas Lists

Add a bit of family info – nothing invasive, just basic names and birthdays. Then, you can even set parameters for each child. Maybe Johnny is allowed to add 20 items to his list, and the toys have to be under $50 bucks. These limits help keep the lists realistic.

We all know about the North Pole, and Santa’s Workshop… But you might not know about Santa’s Desk. This is where all of Santa’s mail passes in and out – and once you’ve set up your account in Santa’s Hideaway, you get access to this desk too! The first task you’ll want to get checked off is to send out an invite to each of your children, from Santa himself, inviting them to start adding toys to their list. It’s easy peasy for them to click the link and get started, and I can guarantee even the “too cool” teenagers will secretly get a kick out of receiving an email directly from Santa Claus. You can also send out letters from “Santa” to the kids anytime you need to, with pre-written reminders encouraging good behavior, or your own message letting them know that Santa is watching. How fun are these round ornament style Christmas Cards? This one is called Booming Blossoms – and I am so excited to order these! What a great idea – this makes it much easier for the recipient to display the card you send, and totally sets it apart from all of the others that they’ll be getting. These start as low as $1.59 each – Considering even a cheap card at Hallmark is a couple bucks, this is an amazing value, right? Add your favorite family photo for a sweet card that everyone will love!

This design is so classic and pretty… Love it! It’s called Banner of Dreams. Cheap DVD’s from Tesco Entertainment

Tesco Entertainment – DVD’s at Great Values!

So – good news, and bad news. The good news is that I found an amazing site, Tesco Entertainment, where you can get some super deals on cheap DVD’s. Like the deals I found for one of our favorite movies – Cars 2 on DVD, from Pixar. The bad news? This site isn’t available for shipping to the US yet – only the UK. Total bummer, I know. I tried to set up an account, only to find out they weren’t shipping here yet. BUT – Since I do have a ton of world-wide readers, I wanted to share this great site with any of you who CAN order from Tesco, to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the sweet deals they have!
