What Tools Do You Need to Capture Your Spring Memories?

“If you see something that moves you, and then snap it, you keep a moment.” – Linda McCartney… Spring is so full of things that need to be photographed… The garden is in bloom. There are events like graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, and more. You’re on the go, it’s a season of change, it’s a time full of moments to capture. And that means you need something a little better than just your smartphone to photograph all of those amazing memories.

Capturing priceless memories

Holding onto your favorite memories

I had several concussions in my early 20’s {long story…} which means that my memory isn’t as strong as I wish it was. But photographs bring back my favorite memories in stunning detail… So I take a million photos, love creating photo books, scrapbooks, and decorating my walls with framed prints or canvas photo art. Photography is such an important part of my life… I love learning to take better photos, I love the way a really great photo can bring me back to a place and time, and I love  being able to use those great pics I take all year to make photo gifts for friends and family at holidays.

Capturing life's little moments

Capturing life’s little moments

This photo above makes my heart happy… This is my Mister holding Abby’s hand, walking her down to see grandpa’s boat at the Everett Marina. My dad decided to buy a sail boat, to live on, a couple months ago. He’s crazy, but I so admire his adventurousness. Watching Mike be such a good daddy, guiding her along, keeping her safe, hand in hand, is just the sweetest moment. Having a great camera gives me the opportunity to grab those moments and pull them into a photo, so I can keep them forever…
