How does it work?

Your first box of kids clothes is FREE! Then you pay only $5 bucks + shipping for a box of new-to-you kids stuff! You can search by size, gender, and season to find a box that’s just right for you.

When you list a box of your own, when someone buys it, THEY pay the shipping. You just print off a pre-paid shipping label, and schedule a free pick-up!

When you add a box of books to swap, you get a FREE $5 credit in your account.

Find BRAND NEW stuff too!

As a fun bonus, sometimes they list a Golden Thred’s box, which is a box filled with BRAND NEW kids stuff from one of their partner companies. These are first come, first served, but are still just $5 + shipping!! Awesome.

Invite Your Friends!

You can invite people you know, like friends and family, and swap boxes with them too!

I’ve used ThredUp for over a year, and have NEVER had a bad experience with them.

{And if you are unhappy with a box, like if someone sends bad items, you have a way to fix it. Read their tips!} My little girl is almost a year, and we’ve ended up with lots of stuff that she outgrew so quick that it still looks brand new. So the people getting my boxes of stuff are getting great stuff!

Here are some examples of what I’ve gotten:

A “Holiday” themed box, with a beautiful formal baby dress for Christmas, with matching tights, shoes, and headband. Also had 2 holiday pajama’s, Santa booties, a snowsuit, and a few holiday themed one piece bodysuits. For $5!!!
A new summer box we just got, packed FULL! I got 3 like-new Carters dresses, 2 pairs of adorable sandles, 3 shorts, 4 summery tops, a swimsuit and baby towel, and 3 sun hats. I am lovin’ this one. Again, $5!

I also listed a box of used books, since baby gets tired of the same ol’ books. I plan on getting a new box as soon as the book swap goes live tomorrow.

Free Baby Calendar + More Freebies

When I had my first baby last year, I stocked up on every free offer and coupon that I could find. Everything add’s up so quickly.

I got this calendar from Hylands, and loved it. So when I came across this free offer today, I wanted to share it with you guys too!

To get the calendar, visit their site, Hylands.com, and fill out all of the info. I never got many emails from them afterwards… Just a couple newsletters, most with other free, helpful offers.

The calendar shows you month by month how baby is growing and developing, what skills s/he should be learning, and fun stuff to do with baby at that time. I found it to be super helpful!

It even comes with a sticker pack, so you can mark milestones like first tooth, first word, things like that. I love it. {It may have come with coupons too, I can’t remember.}

I’ve even ended up with TOO MUCH stuff sometimes, from all of the freebies I get. Planning Family and Baby to Bee both send you a daily email filled with resources to help you try out new products and get coupons. I sign up for EVERYTHING, and sometimes, just for being on a companies mailing list, they’ll send you freebies you don’t even expect, which is so nice.

{Almost} Free Baby Shower Gift!

I had enough extra free samples to fill a whole diaper bag for a friends baby shower a while back. I put in lots of diaper samples, so she could figure out what brand she liked best for her baby. A few packages of formula. A sippy cup that I won from MAM USA, loads of coupons, and more.
