10 Minute Italian Meatloaf Recipe

I had Mike help me prepare it – since he’s the real pro in my kitchen. How to Make Easy Peasy Monkey Cupcakes

These cupcakes were as fun as a barrel of monkeys… Well, that’s probably because they were a tray of monkeys, almost the same thing :) I threw a big double birthday party earlier this summer for the kiddos – my little girl turned 3, and we did a DIY Disney Princess party for her and the little girls, then I created a jungle-themed birthday party for the little boys. {Although of course there was lots of overlap – kids love everything.} I’m just finally getting a chance to show a few of the fun things we did for the jungle theme – so to start, I’ll show you how to make super easy peasy monkey cupcakes. The 6 Best Frozen Treats You Can Buy at the Grocery Store

Frozen treats aren’t just for summer. But because it IS summer, and I just got done trying a big ol’ pile of amazing frozen goodies, I wanted to share a list of our favorites. Because when you’re shopping for summer treats, it can be hard to decide which are the best to spend your grocery budget on when you’re staring down a half-aisle of delicious looking choices, right?

Summer is so hot right now…

For us here in Washington state, the summer has been as hot as I can remember! Thank heck for central air and a pool – I tell ya. But still – on hot summer evenings, I have little appetite. I like some simple soup, a crunchy wrap, or a nice cold salad. Deep Fried Waffles with Strawberries and Cream

Deep fried is one of my favorite flavors…. Lol – it’s true. And yes, that’s why I’m working so hard to live healthier and eat better, so that I can lose the weight I need before we open the pool for the summer. But, even though I’m working on losing weight – I still believe that we all need to splurge from time to time. I’m a dessert lover, but I don’t waste calories on sweets that aren’t even all that good – I’ll save up and splurge on something truly amazing.
