From Above the World of Cars… Comes Planes!

Who loves Disney??…. Ok, that has to be pretty much everyone, am I right? And, some of my family’s favorite Disney movies {it’s hard to pick just one fave, they’re all so good} – are the Disney-Pixar Cars movies. Why? Because we’re a total racing family! Keep reading to learn more, and learn what else the makers of the Cars movies have in store for you soon….

My Mister is a local race car driver – He even got to meet Kasey Kahne recently when he was in town visiting our Yakima Speedway. And Abby LOVES helping daddy build and work on his differenct race cars – as you can see here :) {She’s a little future Lighting McQueen for sure!} So of course, the Cars movies are some of daddy’s favorite alternatives to the princess movies Abby and I usually watch. We’ve hosted lots of race car parties, go to the races most weekends during the season, and are a big fan of other types of racing too – whether it’s cars, bikes, or even planes…

From Above the World of Cars – Comes the Newest Disney Film – Planes!

So, clearly our Cars-loving family would be super excited about the launch of a new Disney film from the creators of Cars – it’s called Planes, and is sure to become another family favorite once it launches! Here’s a little info about it, in case you’ve been out of the loop lately and haven’t heard about it…

Disney’s Planes” takes off in theaters on Aug. 9, 2013

Disney’s Planes” is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing—and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.
