Meet one of my Favorite Baby Companies: Ah Goo Baby!
One of my very first baby purchases was the Plush Pad Ah Goo Baby. I’ve told you guys before that I was quite overwhelmed when I first attempted to start the baby shopping… My oh my! There were so many choices, everything was so adorable, and everything was marketed as a “must have” item! How would I ever figure out what we really needed, so I could buy the best for my baby girl on my very limited budget?

I was still working on finishing my degree when I found out I was pregnant, and I took on the baby-shopping project with as much effort and research as I did my term papers! {This was just as much work, honestly, but so much more fun of course.}

A year later, I can look back and say that I really did buy “just enough”. We had everything that we needed, and there is nothing that we bought for baby that we didn’t use. So, this momma did a good job :)

The Plush Pad…
We didn’t have an extra bedroom when the baby was on the way, so I decided to overhaul my bedroom, to make it a really beautiful and cozy place for baby and I. {I figured between feeding, rocking, and sleeping, we’d be spending a lot of time in there, so I’d better make it a nice place to hang out.} I didn’t have room to add a changing table, which I was bummed about. But truly, we really didn’t need one!
Changing Station…
Since we wouldn’t have the traditional changing table, I chose to set up my own “Changing Station” as an alternative. I bought a diaper stacker bag to hang on the side of the baby’s crib, a super cute little shelf with three little gingham lined baskets for supplies like baby powder and wipes, and the Plush Pad by Ah Goo Baby. The Plush Pad is so darn cute, it sits right on top of the shelf, and adds a pop of color to the room. When it’s changing time, I just lay the pad down on the bed, then settle baby down on the soft and cozy memory foam cushion. {the pad feels soft and plush, but is still waterproof!} Such a great option for anyone who is short on space!
