One thing that this momma wants this year – even if it’s an after-Christmas family gift – is a new truck. Many people think of trucks as a “guy thing” – but I’ve got a lot of gear to haul around too! It’s called Auto Insurance EZ, and these are a few of the tips I learned today, that you should keep in mind when comparing auto insurance providers:

Financial Strength: You want to make sure that the company you choose is stable enough financially that you can be sure you’ll be able to collect on a claim if needed.
Customer Service: You want to make sure that it’s easy to reach someone when you need help, that the claims process is easy, and that the company really values their customers.
Coverage and Payment Options: Is the company flexible with payment plans, so that you can be sure to get something that fits your needs? Do they offer the extra features that are important to you, like roadside assistance?
Personal References: Ask friends and family if they have any experience with the company. Check out their social media pages to get more real-life opinions on the site and services. This can give you a great idea of how responsive they are.
Other Reviews: There are tons of independent websites such as ConsumerReports.org, JDPower.com, and FreeAdvice.com that all let you read real-mom reviews about various car insurance companies. Make sure to check them out too.

Sweet New Sports Car Option for Moms on the Go

Scion is bringing sport back to the car… We’re in the {very early} process of looking for a new car. The AC doesn’t work in my car, and the problem causing that is a tricky one to fix from what I’m hearing. And, while 99% of the car still looks great – the front fender is trying to fall off, and is on there with a red-to-match-the-car piece of duct tape. Not cool, you know? In our research, I came across this guy that looks pretty rad…

I’m totally digging that Asphalt color. And the Mister is totally digging the Speedster option that it includes a race exhaust system, since he’s a race car driver. He’s pretty amazing with cars – works some MAGIC out there in the racing pits making those cars fly as fast as possible around the track. He’s checked this one out quite a bit, and thinks it’s our best option. And I like the idea of a sweet new sporty option for this momma on the go. What do you think?
