{Twizzlers} Family Road Trip Contest!

2. Speaking of diapers… I ONLY buy diapers through Amazon. I sign up for the “Subscribe and Save” option, which takes 15% off of the price. And each diaper purchase helps you to extend your months of FREE shipping. {Plus, you can change your subscribe and save options ANY time, and not have the shipment sent if you don’t want it}
3. Another great tip is to sign up for Swag Bucks. There are a lot of different rewards you can choose from, but I think the best deal is the Amazon Gift Cards. And ALWAYS get the $5 gift cards. If you do the math, they are a much better deal than any of the higher dollar amounts. I earn enough Swag Bucks to get a $5 Amazon card about once every week or two. Love this book, “Peek a Who?”, perhaps partly because I have a current obsession with Owls. But this is a super cute book that our kids think is so much fun.

Another favorite at my house is this adorable giraffe soother. It plays 4 different sound settings, from a white noise to a fun jungle beat. It also has a little velcro strap that you can use to attach it to the stroller or carseat. So cute.

Our current favorite movie. Seriously, so good. The little yellow guys’ laugh is just so contagious. Even I like watching this one :)

This is a really terrible quality picture of my birthday cake last year. But I love it. This was a great cake. It came with plastic flower rings. How can a cake get better than that, right? And they spelled my name right. That’s always a bonus.

{Win!!} Super Duper Giveaways List!

I love giveaways, contests, and sweepstakes.

At the end of my pregnancy, I was having a lot of complications. I had not one hernia, but two. One on each side. My doctor told me that this was very uncommon. Well, of course. I’m weird. Uncommon is how I roll.

So, I was in a bit of pain. {and by a bit, I mean the opposite of a bit. Like, a ton maybe.} The doctor couldnt do any surgery to fix it, because baby girl was sort of in the way. Their solution? “Stay off of your feet.” Problem was, I worked as a manager in retail. And that sort of involves standing. And running. And ladders.

I couldn’t afford to leave work early, so I was on my feet all day. ALL. DAY. Oh boy. So when I got home I didn’t even want to stand up for anything at all. Nada. And I’m not much of a TV watcher. So I started getting online a lot. A. LOT.

That’s how I stared with giveaways. I entered a few, and won. So I entered more, and won even MORE often. Then I got hooked! Over the holidays, when there were a ton of giveaways going on, I seriously won at least something almost every single day for months. Amazing.

I’ve backed off a little, since I’m so busy with the new baby, watching the nephews, finishing up school, housework, the new blog, etc. But I’m starting to get back into it again. And I’m starting to win again.

Yep. Momma needs a hotline.

But hey, it’s not like I’m gambling. It’s harmless, even if it is a bit of an addiction, right?
