Who loves free money? {Is everyone waving their hands in the air right now? I thought so :)} I know that I love finding cool new ways to earn extra free money from stuff I do anyway, or ways to earn money working from home. Sites like Ebates, MyPoints, and InBox Dollars give me awesome ways to earn money from what I do online – things like reading emails, surfing the web, or shopping. Because of those, sometimes I’ve wanted to avoid actually shopping in stores, because I’d be missing my awesome rewards and free cash back. But, I’ve recently fallen in love with an app that helps you earn free cash when you shop at your local stores too. So cool. Check it out….

How to earn free money using the Jingit App

This app is seriously SO cool. I’d heard of it a long time ago, and used it a bit. It’s mentioned in my 10 Ways to Earn Money From Home post, my most popular post ever, which has been pinned over 273,000 times now. {Crazy, right?} I’d used it a bit, but then had to quit, because at the time I had swapped out my iPhone for a new Windows Phone, and the app wasn’t available on that one. But now that I’m using it again – ohmyheck . It is SO amazing. I wish I’d used this consistently sooner! Here’s how to get started:

Download the app here: http://jngt.co/Download. Download the app to your smartphone, Android or iPhone. Or, set up an account using your computer or tablet. You can see it on my phone in the first pic.
Once you’ve set it up, you can see all of the stores you can shop at to earn. Like in the second photo – Walmart, Target, and Safeway are my 3 top stores, so this was awesome.
Next, pick a store. You’ll find a big assortment of stores based on where you live. You’ll also see some featured seasonal categories – right now there’s a “Tailgating” section filled with items you might need for that, that’ll earn you free money when you buy them.

You’ll then get to see what items you can earn with. Find the ones you would normally purchase anyway. {Then – hint to boost your earnings! – go to Coupons.com and see which coupons are available, and if any match your shopping list.} You’ll see things like .75 cents for buying Simply Orange juice, $1 cash back when you buy 3 Lean Cuisine Frozen Meals, or .50 cents back when buying English Muffins. All things that are already on my shopping list – why not earn some cash back when buying them, right?

You can also earn free money online

You earn by checking in at local shops, and purchasing specific items. But you can also earn free cash online by watching videos and giving feedback. It takes about 30 seconds to watch a video ad. Then you answer 2-4 quick questions. That earns you .10 cents. Doesn’t seem like a lot? Well check out the photo above – see how it shows that if I kept watching these for an hour I’d earn $26+ an hour? Not a bad deal right? You could do that while watching TV, waiting in line, or sitting in traffic. Free money baby :)

Free money and rewards from shopping – using your phone!

So – what does all of this effort reward you with? I know that’s what you’re thinking. It’s what I’d be thinking. Well, you can see some of the rewards here – Seriously, three of these are my faves! I am a total and complete Sephora Junkie, seriously. Walmart has everything, and I shop there online often. AMC doesn’t have any theaters here locally – but we did just get a Cabela’s and it is AWESOME. And honestly, the awards add up so darn fast. It’s awesome!
