Confetti Kisses: Mix and Match Fashions for Girls

Do you have a little fashionista in your life? I sure do. I love it… I love it even when she raids my jewelry box and piles on 32 bangle bracelets and all of my necklaces. Sure, she has her share of total fashion mishaps – like last week, when she put on daddy’s work boots, her no pants, no shirt, with a coat, one glove, and a blonde mermaid wig – and then proclaimed that she was ready to go outside and play in the rain. That was a bit of a fashion fail, lol. Almost 3 in 5 {58%} dads surveyed feel that they spend more money on their partners for Mother’s Day than their significant others typically spend on them for Father’s Day. {See the full Father’s Day gift giving survey here.} And that might be true – Mother’s Day often includes a date night out, flowers and jewelry, things like that. All Things Baby – And How to SAVE On Them All Too!

Save big on all things baby… Ok, you probably know that I’m a frugal type. I’ve always been careful with my money, always searched out the best deals, always invented new ways to stretch my dollars further. This comes from growing up poor… {Like, real poor. Like, family that the church sponsored one year at Christmas.} I watched my mom use our very meager resources in creative ways, always making sure that life was still fun and full – even on a low budget. Funny Super Bowl Commercials & Free $50 Best Buy Gift Card

The only reason I love the Super Bowl is the awesome food, spending time with awesome friends and family, and watching awesomely funny Super Bowl commercials. {What? There’s a football game going on during this awesome party? Lol.} I wasn’t really blown away by the commercials this year – I wondered at some of them, “You spent millions to get this commercial played, and THIS is all you could come up with?} – but there were a few that I loved. The Budweiser Clydesdales are always a fave – don’t tell me you didn’t tear up just a little? The God Made a Farmer one was really powerful, although I was bummed at the end that it was just for a truck. And… I absolutely over-the-top love both Best Buy AND Amy Poehler, so of course their ad was a favorite too. Check it out…
