We have a lot of musicians in my family, and both of my brothers play guitar. One of them even plays in a band… They’ve been playing shows around the state for years, and have a great following, and I hear that they’re really good.

It’s hard for me to tell, since it’s super hard rock. And I don’t know why they sound so angry. But it might just be that I’m old :)

Anyway, I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar too, so maybe I’ll win this one, and have my own cool one to start practicing on! *fingers crossed*

Hahaha. But seriously, I have been entering this once a month for a LONG time, hoping to win. I think it would be awesome, but I’d never spend the money on something like this. So I try to win what I can’t afford :)

Make sure to click the button that they can contact you, or they can’t call you if you win.

Once in a while, like 3 times over the last year I’ve been entering, I’ve gotten a call that I won a “runner up” style prize, and can get $300 bucks off of a session.

If you’re interested in getting it done, this would be a pretty awesome way to save some big bucks on it. I just tell them no thanks, and they don’t bother me again. Or just don’t answer when you see an unknown number!

Baby’s surgery:

My baby girl had surgery yesterday. It was a minor procedure; she had a blocked tear duct that needed to be opened, but it required general anesthesia which scared the heck outta me. But it went great {I’m going to share a bit about it in a post later} and she’s home and looking good. But today is catch-up day!

While going through my {totally overflowing!!} email inbox, I saw tons of great Father’s Day ideas, so I’m going to share a round up here of some favorites!
