A lot can happen between lost and found – I think that line gives you a really good idea of what this amazingly heartwarming film, A Dog’s Way Home, is about, right? It’s every dog owners worst nightmare – losing their pet. Not everyone “gets it,” understands the way a dog isn’t “just” a pet. They become a legit part of your family. I know that for me, losing my dog would be heartbreaking, and being separated from him would leave a big hole in our home, family, and whole life. If you are an animal lover too, you totally know what I mean.
A Dog’s Way Home chronicles the heartwarming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human. It’s directed by Charles Martin Smith, and the film is based on the much-loved book by best-selling author W. Bruce Cameron. It also stars Ashley Judd, one of my fave actresses! {Also – just for fun: If you’d like to create a movie poster just like this one, but featuring a photo of your own four-legged friend – you can! Create Your Own Movie Poster. My daughter thought this was super cool.) And, take a sec to watch the trailer for A Dog’s Way Home if you haven’t yet:
Pulls at your heartstrings, yeah? I know. Me too. All the feels, man. I’m one of those types of people who borderline like animals better than people, who can be found at a party sitting under a table talking to someone’s cat, and who cries WAY more when a dog dies in a movie, then when a human character does. I love pets. ;)
And now that you’re all excited about the film, and the book it’s based on, and the fact that it opens in theaters tomorrow – A Dog’s Way Home opens January 11th, 2019 – I also have an opportunity for you to WIN a big prize package packed with movie swag related to the film, as well as a copy of A Dog’s Way Home book by W. My family love dogs and animals,I am excited to see this movie because I want to see this dog make it home,it’s a movie the whole family is going to love and usually we don’t agree on movies.
Dog movies are the best – who can resist a cute dog or puppy in any movie
I am excited to see this film because i love dogs and everything about them. My dog is a runner and i have to watch him all the time to make sure he doesn’t get loose.
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, with a special place in my heart for dogs. My first stuffed toy was a dog (and I still have it, although it’s disintegrating with age). I’m an animal rescuer and even had my own rescue for a time. The previews I’ve seen for this movie set my heart racing – I need to see it.
I could really use a feel-good movie right now, and anything with a dog and a happy ending is great for me!
I’m A Dog Lover !! I Heard This Movie Had Ratings Tsvm 4 The Chance 2 Win !!
I like the story line of the movie
I am excited about seeing this movie because they don’t use dog actors they actually go to shelters to get the dogs used in the movie and I think that’s awesome!
The courage and remarkable journey of this dog excites me to see this film.
I love dogs and I support rescue – adopt, don’t shop. I’m for any movie that shares the idea that rescue is good. Also, I love dogs and the one in this movie is adorable!
