I’m totally in love. The box arrived super fast. There was a sturdy outer box, then when you open it up there’s another box containing your actual products, so they’re extra safe and secure during transit. All packaged up pretty, with a card. When you sign up for a Birchbox subscription, you answer some questions about your hair and skin color and type, what brands you like, types of products you prefer, etc. That way they can customize your box so that you love it. It also means not every box is going to be exactly the same. But here’s what was included in my box today:

A very pretty blush and highlighter duo from Coastal Scents. I’m pretty pale, and these are perfect shades for me – they add just a touch of color and shimmer.
A very cool mascara from Milk Makeup – I’ve never tried this brand, but have heard a lot of good things lately. It’s the Ubame Mascara, with ubame oak charcoal and sapphire dust to make it super dark – which I love. And a cool triple-ball style applicator to make it easier to get those tiny outer corner lashes. {I also LOVE using organic mascara!}
R+Co ANALOG Cleansing Foam Conditioner, which includes argan oil in the ingredient list, and I’m a total argan oil junkie! You use this product instead of shampoo, and it’s supposed to leave a really pretty sheen and softness.
Skin care – Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream – a hydrater to boost skin’s moisture during dry winter months. And you only need a nickle-sized amount per application, so it should go a long way. And I got a tube of Balance Me Radiance Face Mask too, which cleanses, exfoliates, and brightens skin. Both perfect this time of year.

AND — As a bonus when I signed up, I also got one of the new mascaras from Benefit {one of my fave brands} – Roller Lash. I’m a total mascara lover, even when I don’t wear much else, so getting two mascaras this month is super cool. If you sign up now, the bonus is a full-sized liquid liner with your first box!
