Toys that Cause an Uproar – Switch & Go Dinos

We’ve got a new set of toys that’s really causing an “uproar” in my house – the super cool new Switch & Go Dinos from VTech! My little girl is a huge dinosaur-lover, so when I opened up the box for her to meet Jagger the T-rex and the rest of his friends, she was crazy-excited. Her cousins were here the day we got our package – and this is how they felt about the new dino toys:

Obviously, the kids were pretty darn excited for me to open up all the boxes and get these Switch & Go Dinos ready for action. And it’s no wonder why…. Each of the characters transform from a dino to a cool vehicle they can drive around. And Jagger even responds to voice commands – check him out:

Switch & Go Dinos – Jagger the T-Rex

We loved SO many things about Jagger the T-Rex…. First of all, Abby likes him because he’s HUGE – half as tall as she is! And he’s super interactive… It took us a little bit to get used to communicating with him {you want to be sure you don’t have a ton of background noise going on} – but once you get him going he’s a blast. You can tell him to go forward, make you laugh by telling you a joke, shoot his drill bit, or Abby’s favorite – have him ROOOOAAAAARRRR! I like that he also has an educational side too, giving kids dinosaur facts and tidbits. It only took the kids a few minutes to figure out how to transform him all the way into a construction crane truck – including a working crane and crate to haul up and down. So much fun. And… He has friends, too….

Meet the rest of our Switch & Go Dino crew

We already had Akuna the Velociraptor, from the amazing package of goodies that the awesome people at Sweet Suite sent over to us after BlogHer, and Abby totally loved him. Then VTech sent us Torr the Therizinosaurus, Stompsalot the Amargasaurus, and Quiver the Stygimoloch to join our roaring good times. They all have different phrases they say, and you can push buttons to change the look of the eyes on the dinos, which Abby thinks is really cool. They share facts about dinos, roar, and just totally get the kids excited and having fun. And just like Jagger, each one transforms into a different type of vehicle too – see ’em below.

How cool is that? The kids can play with them all as cars, and zoom them around the kitchen, after a day of dino play. And toys that give kids more than one way to play are always a plus! Love that.
