If there was such a thing as a Christmas music addiction, I would be the ring leader! I love Christmas music and now that Halloween is over, it’s time to fire up the playlist. Yep, we have one of those stations that plays Christmas music 24/7 starting the day after Thanksgiving – until then, I have my Pandora radio playlists. But as soon as that station flips to holiday themes, we listen to it all the time! Seriously – I.Love.Christmas. A lot.

I am just not an addict – I am a conssiour! – so I know good christmas music when I hear it! This is a first in Rod’s career so you have to check it out. His musical talents alone would make me purchase this CD, but he upped the ante and enlisted a number of A-list guests, including Michael Bublé, Mary J. Blige, Cee-Lo Green and New Orleans favorite son, Trombone Shorty.

My favorite might have to be “The Christmas Song (chesnuts roasting on an open fire)… brings me back to decorating our family christmas tree as a child…leaving out cookies for santa that I now get to witness first hand with my children. Every year we drive around the local neighborhoods too look at everyone’s christmas lights, with hot chocolate in our hands and our favorite holiday CD in the CD player….This CD will be a staple this holiday season!
