Hi Amy – Thanks for the heads up :) I didn’t know that non-members could use the coupon code…. I get alerts to these codes every other month or so, for the sling, the covers, other cool baby products like that. But they only come from Planning Family, and I assumed that they were only for members. Sometimes coupon codes will work for everyone – but the intention was to have them available only for a companies members. So I wanted to promote it that way! Glad to know that they will work for everyone though. Although – This was is expired I believe? So if anyone DID want to be updated regularly on the cool promo codes, signing up for Planning Family is a great way to get them :) And it’s just a cool site to great free stuff from anyway – I’ve used them for years now!

Hey I was about to purchase the whole caboodle for my Chicco infant carseat. Well I called the company and found out that if you were to get in a accident and something happened to your seat with the cover on the seat the part the baby sits in that the warranty on the carseat will be voided. You can put the cover that drapes from the handle on but if it is not approved by the Chicco company that it is not going to cover the carseat. One reason being that it is not crash rated. All of the seat covers that come on the seats have all been inspected and crash rated. We travel to much for me to take this risk. I am sure there are other moms out there that have no clue about this! I will get the cover for the handle so the sun will not be in my babies eyes when getting out/in the car. It is a great deal after looking at a ton of these. Which they had more patterns available.
