If you’ve got a toddler in your life – then I’m sure you know Caillou! Caillou is a sweet little boy who loves adventure – with two of the most patient parents I’ve ever seen! There are a lot of cartoons that I don’t really like Abby to watch – but this one is super fun. In case somehow you’re not familiar with it yet – Caillou is a preschooler who delights in the small wonders of the world around him, embellishing everything he sees with his rich imagination. I’m an incredibly creative person, and that’s something that I really want to share with Abby – so I love that this show, and the related toys, really focus on role-playing and imagination, inspiring kids to make up their own adventures. We got the opportunity to check out a few of the newest Caillou toys – and they were just as delightful as the cartoons!

As you can see – Abby’s favorite of the toys we received was the Caillou doll! As soon as I pulled him out of the package, she grabbed him and hugged him. I asked, “Do you like him?” – she responded with a big kiss! {If you’ve read many of my toy reviews, you know that kisses are reserved for only her very favorite of toys!} She has been bringing him all around the house with her – she even tried to share her sippy cup with him. So sweet….

Caillou Fireman’s House: This set is so super cute! It is pretty small – and a few of the pieces were a little bit too small for Abby to play with alone, since she wanted to eat them. {You know toddlers eat everything they find, lol.} But it is super fun, and Abby adores it. She likes to put Caillou in the car and make him “Goooooooo!” which is her new favorite word. She also love, love, LOVES that there is a cat! All of the details are really well done on this, you’ll love it!

Caillou Learning Train: This one was MY favorite! We watched a movie about trains, and now Abby loves to say “Choo Choo!” She totally lit up when she saw this set – and it keeps her attention, since there are so many fun features. The smoke on the engine is a squeaky toy, the green key in the side winds up to make it go, the little bell on the end rings, and there’s a set of colorful beads on the engine that move back and forth. The size of all of the pieces is just perfect for little hands – just perfect!
