This package can be requested by simply calling the hotline at 1-800-923-6602. This is available from the National Adoption Hotline, and is for mothers who are considering adoption. If you know of someone in need of some support with this type of decision, this would be a great package to request for her, or pass the info along!

Odd story that this brought to mind… Years ago, I was watching X-Files, {remember that show} and there was a scary fat-sucker-monster-type guy, that went into your home at night, and sucked away all of your fat. The sad part was that the people died. But all I could think as I watched the episode was, what if you could work out a deal with him, you know? You get to eat donuts and chips and fried goodness all week, and every Friday night while you were sleeping, like a beautiful fairy Godmother he’d slip through your bedroom window and suck all of that fat away? That’s the type of thing I think about…. I probably watched this 10 years ago, and still think about it….
