How I Shop on Amazon for FREE!

I love Amazon.com. I mean, like really love it. A lot.

How can you not love a site where you find deals like this:

This Ready, Set, Go Trike is the coolest thing, and I’ve been stalking it online for awhile now, waiting for a deal. Today on Amazon, I found it on sale for $120 off!! Whaaaat? Crazy good deal, right? It’s normally $199.00 and right now it’s only $79.99… AND it qualifies for FREE 2 Day Shipping with Amazon Mom!! Rockin.

I love the deals, the selection, the easy navigation, and the amazing service. But a BIG reason I love shopping on Amazon is because I can do some of it for FREE.

How, you ask?

Swag Bucks, that’s how!! I looove Swag Bucks, and have been using it for about three years now!

How does Swag Bucks help me shop for FREE at Amazon?

Well, with Swag Bucks you earn “bucks” for your activity. You have a ton of different ways to earn, but here are a few that I use the most:

Install the toolbar, and use it to search instead of Yahoo or Google. I was nervous to install this at the beginning, but I’ve been using Swag Bucks for years now, and it’s totally safe.
Click your tool bar to go to the Swag Bucks site, and fill out surveys you qualify for.
You can also answer the daily poll on the Swag Bucks site too, for more points!
Plus, you can complete offers, play games, watch videos, and more! But I use just those three actions, and earn most of my points just using the tool bar to do my regular searching.

I use all of my Swag Bucks to get Amazon Gift Cards! I always choose the $5 Gift Cards, since that is the better value. Then, I add those cards to my Amazon account, and let them add up until I’m ready to shop! I earn enough “bucks” to get a $5 card about once a week or so.

So… You guys know how much I LOVE daily deal sites.

I lost my job before I was able to return from my maternity leave. And I’ve been a {very happy!} stay at home momma ever since. I’m broke as all heck, because belive it or not, blogging doesn’t make you a millionaire, especially the first 3 months :) But I am so so lucky to get to be at home.

But with all of the things a {too fast!!} growing baby needs, I would NEVER be able to afford things without using these deal sites, especially the ones targeted towards moms!!

The sites all work on a similar idea… If a company offers ONE deal at a SUPER deep discount, but gets TONS of sales from it, it can be worth it for them. And it is TOTALLY worth it to you to get that daily deal, if it is something that you’re needing.

I’ve gotten a diaper bag at over $100 off retail, toys for $50 – 90% off, and lots of gift certificates for things like restaurants, the zoo, and classes, at really great, affordable, prices.

You’ll love the quality! Vistaprint is so great for fun, personalized products for gifts. And if you have a blog or small business, they are a GREAT way to get some promotional products with your own logo, at a really big discount.

LOVE MOM.COM!

Such a fun site!

Check out Mom.com! This is another one of my favorite “Daily Deal” sites, and it is focused {can you guess?} on products just for moms, babies, and kids.

I love the name. I love the selection of deals they present. And I LOVE the prices on those deals!! Having a baby is expensive, and there are so so many things to buy that I never expected or thought of. Using these types of sites to grab stuff we need at really deep discounts is the only way I can afford to stay home with the little one.

Love this book, “Peek a Who?”, perhaps partly because I have a current obsession with Owls. But this is a super cute book that our kids think is so much fun.

Another favorite at my house is this adorable giraffe soother. It plays 4 different sound settings, from a white noise to a fun jungle beat. It also has a little velcro strap that you can use to attach it to the stroller or carseat. So cute.

Our current favorite movie. Seriously, so good. The little yellow guys’ laugh is just so contagious. Even I like watching this one :)
