I’ve had a rough week. Like, really rough. I was supposed to travel to Chicago and then Wisconsin, to the Kimberly-Clark HQ, to speak to a panel of other mom bloggers about potty training, and how awesome the Pull-Ups Big Kid Academy is. {And honestly, it really is. If you have littles, or know someone in potty training stage – share it with them. They’ll love you forever.} But then we had a major family emergency. Like, life-threatening emergency. And I didn’t feel comfortable traveling across the country when my family was in such an uncertain place. But, we were blessed…. Things have changed dramatically in a few days. It looks like everything will be ok. I can breath again. And – it’s awesome that as that happens, I also get to have an amazing event to cover tomorrow – the Rockstar UPROAR Festival, at the beautiful White River Amphitheater near Seattle, Washington.
My photographer and I will be making the 2.5 hour drive over to Seattle tomorrow afternoon, to meet up with the uh-MAY-zing people behind the Pura Vida Tequila brand. We get to chat, learn more about their high-end products, and sample some while hanging out on their awesome party bus that you can see above. And guess who ELSE will be on that party bus? {Imaginary drum roll please…..}
Yeeeeah baby – we’ll be drinking Pura Vida tequila with the guys from Godsmack, the headlining band of the show! Every night at 8:15 they head to the bus for a shot…. And we’ll get to be there to celebrate with them, right before they hit the stage. After that, we also have VIP tickets that give us backstage passes and access to the photo area, which is close enough to touch their feet, I hear. Not that I would. Because…. You know, I don’t want to be the chick that trips one of the band members, lol.
