Do You Know What’s Missing From Your Beauty Routine?

I’m excited to partner with Mom It Forward Blogger Network to share some awesome beauty tips – including info about the NEW #ColgateEnamelHealth Toothpaste. Compensation was received – all opinions are totally mine :)

Do you know what's missing from your beauty routine?

Do you know what’s missing from your beauty routine?

I love me some beauty products. I may have spent way more money than necessary at Sephora the past few years. {Especially when I’m a work at home mom, and don’t even wear make-up every day….} I also love lotions and potions, sprays and scrubs, perfumes and polishes…. All the girly stuff. But there’s one place that I recently realized I should give more thought to….

Colgate Enamel Health - #ColgateEnamelHealth

Just like we use face and body lotion to replenish our skin – our teeth need to be maintained too! When your tooth enamel isn’t probperly taken care of, it can become rough, just like your skin. And just like you use a body or face scrub to keep things smooth – you can do the same thing with your teeth. Cool, right? I’d never really thought about tooth care like that.

  • The NEW Colgate Enamel Health Toothpaste helps smooth enamel in two ways:
  • Helps replenish natural calcium and other minerals back into weakened enamel, filling rough spots and making it stronger.
  • Gently polishes the enamel surface with gentle micro-polishing action, so germs are less likely to stick to teeth.

To complete the line, the Colgate® 360°® Enamel HealthTM Manual Toothbrush has several features that complement the toothpaste. The uniquely designed bristles help protect enamel surfaces and gums, while the polishing whitening cups gently remove stains for a brighter smile.

Let me tell you why this is extra important to me… I don’t  have health insurance. Which means I don’t have dental insurance either. So, unfortunately, I’ve had to put off dental care and regular check-ups more than I’d like to. And I so miss that super-crazy-fresh-and-smooth feeling you get after cleanings – I used to get them every 6 months! But – I am honestly impressed with this new line from Colgate… I thought it’d be a good set of products, since I’m a fan of Colgate. But you really do notice a difference after using them. And – I do NOT like a toothpaste that’s overwhelmingly flavored. This whitening formula from the Colgate Enamel Health line is perfect. Like, perfect. I haven’t felt this emotional over a toothpaste in quite a while :)

Bonus – check out a super cute set of free printables from The Idea Room that I found, to help remind you and your family to brush and floss!

  1. This is so true ! Dental hygiene is super important to me and just as important as any part of your beauty routine….now to get my kids to see it my way too!

  2. I neglected my teeth when I was younger and paid for it later. Should be a part of a beauty routine, for sure!

  3. I was just adding toothpaste to our grocery list and have been wanting to switch to something just like this – whitening without being (as my kids call it) “spicy”. lol We’ll definitely pick these up to try! Thanks for the info.

  4. This is definitely a great addition to any beauty routine! You can look fabulous, but then when you smile if your teeth are yellow it kinda ruins it, ha know? My teeth are starting to get sensitive too, so I think something that helps to maintain the enamel would be perfect.

  5. I am so glad I read this. I know I can do better to take care of my teeth. I don’t have dental insurance so it’s really important.
