    I would use the PC to stay connected to my grandkids out-of-state who I don’t get to see as often as I want. I would use the printer to make the scrapbooks I have had planned for the past few years for the same grandchildren of pictures throughout their lives and those of their mother who they lost when they were just 1 and 4. I want these kids to have some great memories of their mother through photos.

    I think that I would use it to keep in touch with my family. My oldest son is in the Army and both of my boys live in a different state from me so it would definitely help to share pictures of the rest of our family with them.

  12. I would use the printer’s timer to print off coloring sheets and personal messages to my youngest child while I’m at work. That way she knows that I love her and I’m thinking about her, even when I’m not home all day.

  34. It’s hard keeping up with my family….some are in Hawaii, some are in Germany, some are in England. A laptop would be great so I could be mobile and keep connected with them…crarzy time differences make it hard to be home when they all want to chat

    Outside of using it for my 8 year old for school and for staying in touch with family and friends, I have to say the most thrilling thing for my 8 year old and I to use it for would be for us to really send it to my son who is stationed overseas in the dessert. He got over there and his laptop died and things are a little tight for a new one. We love the every few weeks calls but they only get those hit and miss but we miss being able to have more frequent cmmunications with him.

    Our idea for using the HP Family Time Kit is to provide our respective siblings the gift of a “Grandchildren Scrapbook” for this upcoming Christmas. Along with the scrapbook will be an offer to collect from each the yearly photos they’d like to add to the scrapbook via Dropbox and we’d print and send them out for each to add to their growing collection. A new family tradition and holiday gift!

    None of my family lives in town nor closeby! We keep in touch via the internet alot and this would make things easier. I also like to do digital scrapbooking and there are some new babies in the family and with a working printer I could share it evven easier and print things out.
