This fall treat post is sponsored by Global Influence with super yummy fall candy provided by Hershey’s.
I’m lucky to live in a place where we have four very distinct seasons – Yakima, Washington. And while it’s very hard to choose a favorite, I do think fall is it. I live in a really agricultural area, filled with farms and orchards and vineyards, so not only is it beautiful here this time of year as the leaves change colors – it’s a delicious time of year too. There are so many local produce and farm stands to choose from, and there are tons of fun pick-your-own pumpkin patches. And speaking of pumpkin…. Here in Washington, we’re also the home of Starbucks, and the un-official drink of fall, the Pumpkin Spice Latte! And since I’m a big fan of all things pumpkiny, I created a sweet treat inspired by my favorite flavors of fall – White Chocolate & Pumpkin Spice Brownie Bites. Yum-mazing.
These were really simple to make, and ohsogood. The combo of the chewy chocolate brownie, topped with smooth pumpkin spice creaminess and white chocolate is perfection. Like, if could take a bite out of the fall season, this is what it would taste like. I use the Wilton Mini Muffin Pan for brownie bites, since the non-stick works awesome, and I can make my brownies without wrappers if I want. }I’m also kind of in love with the Smart Planet Brownie Bite Maker
. I used it at a friend’s house and it’s super cool :)} Then I added the new Pumpkin Spice Hershey’s Kisses on top of each one, and put them back in the oven for a few minutes to let them melt and kind of glue themselves on. To top them off, I drizzled some Wilton white chocolate candy melts
over each one. Let ’em set for a minute to cool, and you have total deliciousness.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 package Pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kisses
- 1 package Wilton white chocolate candy melts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If you're not using a non-stick pan like I am, spray it with cooking spray. Or, use pretty paper mini-cupcake liners if you want to add some color!
- In a big saucepan, melt your butter. Once it's melted, remove from heat, and stir in your sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Then mix in the rest of your brownie ingredients - the flour, salt, cocoa, and baking powder. Now add the batter to your pan - I use an ice cream scoop to make it easier.
- Bake 'em up for about 25 minutes. Take out the pan, and quickly top each brownie bite with a Pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kiss. Put the pan back in the oven for 3-5 minutes, to let each kiss melt just a little bit.
- While you're waiting for the Kisses to melt, fill either a decorating bag, or a ziploc bag, with the candy melts. Follow the directions on the bag to melt the candies.
- Remove the brownie bag from the oven, snip the tip off of your baggie, and drizzle some white chocolate over each brownie bite.
- Let cool for a few minutes {if you can wait - it's hard!} and then enjoy!
