Welcome to week #2 in our Survival Series of Giveaways, where one winner takes all!! For the next several weeks, Krazy Clippers and our featured sponsor, Copy-Kids will explore different ways in which we can be prepared in our homes for unexpected events. If you’ve ever doubted the need to start prepping, or thought it was only for “extremists” – just take a look at what our friends in the New York area are going through right now. Having some basics – skills, supplies, and gear – can make a big difference in an emergency!
Last week in our Survival Series we showcased Canning as a means of food preservation and storage. This week we feature an even simpler way to preserve foods — Food Dehydration. Food dehydration is one of the oldest and easiest methods of preserving foods. You really don’t need many skills to pull this one off… just the right equipment!
Find out more about Food Dehydration here! Also, Pinterest is a great place to find ideas for foods you can dehydrate. Here are a few of my favorite boards: Dehydrating Foods and Food Dehydrating. What a simple way to store away healthy food for a rainy day!!
One Lucky Reader will win the Snack Master Express Food Dehydrator and a Copy-Kids eat fruits & vegetables DVD!
Open to US Residents. Enter Below & Good luck!!!
The Giveaway ends 11/9/12 at 11:59 pm EST.

I would dehydrate venison for venison jerky. I would also like to be able to make my own trail mix with tons of dried fruit. So things like pineapple, apricots, banana’s, and strawberries. Yummy!!! Thanks for the chance. bekki1820cb at gmail dot com
