Enter to win at Buddig Be A Reader, before July 25, 2011, and your child will have a chance at winning one of the weekly prizes, or the grand prize scholarship.
Here is how it works, and I think it’s pretty cool:
Sign up and get started.
Your child {ages 6-13} will read a short story online.
Then, they will be asked a few questions about the story.
Next, they write a short essay.
Parents will get an email, and must approve the submission.
That’s it, you’re entered!!
There are tons of prizes!
Each week, 200 kids will receive a free Scholastic book. And one grand prize winner per age group will receive a $10,000 scholarship! Wouldn’t that be amazing?
My baby girl is a bit too young to enter this one, {lol} but I’m going to check with my nephew when he gets to home today, and see if he’s interested. That boy looooves to show off his reading and writing skills, so I bet he’ll love it.
