  1. I definitely need to attend this, I feel like I’m saying no no no to my toddler all the time.

  2. thank you melissa, my 4 year old makes me nuts so hopefully this can teach us ways to better communicate with her..

  3. What a great thing to do. We could also use yelling in our lives!

  4. That would be amazing. Don’t know if I’ll be able to listen to it at 9 PM because that’s bedtime around here lol!

  5. Well, thank goodness I am past that! I was a yeller — but one day I scared the kids (should I admit this) doing figure 8’s in the Kmart parking lot… They got so scared they said if I stopped yelling they would do whatever I wanted. AND that lasted ~~~ anytime I raised my voice, they said “what would you like mom” and then were off to take care of it. They said it was because they were afraid I was so mad I was going to kill them in the car. Thankfully we are all now much older and wiser!

  6. We practice positive parenting here and it has worked wonders on our kids. Sometimes, I get really frustrated, and have to remind myself (over and over) that positive is best.

  7. Um…can you sign me up PLEASE? : )

  8. I was only once ever a yeller and I realized it didn’t work cause seeing their faces with that blank stare showed me it wasn’t going anywhere. It was like they just tuned me out… Great information! and I will share this.
